Focus Bud is developed by Faro Apps ("we", "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how it is used.

2. Data We Collect

To provide our services, we process the following categories of data. This aligns with our App Store Privacy Labels:

• Purchases: Purchase history and subscription status.
• Identifiers: Anonymous User IDs (generated by RevenueCat) to manage your subscription.
• Support Data: If you email us, we keep your email address and message history to resolve your issue.
• Usage Data: Anonymous product interaction data (e.g., app launches, screen views) to improve app stability.

3. Third-Party Services

We utilize trusted third-party processors to handle specific functions.

RevenueCat (Subscriptions)

We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases. When you make a purchase, RevenueCat receives a receipt from Apple and generates an anonymous App User ID. This allows us to validate your "Pro" status and restore purchases if you switch devices.

• Data Shared: Purchase Receipt, App User ID, Device OS Version.
• Purpose: Fulfillment of contract (Subscription management).

Apple (App Analytics)

We use Apple's standard opt-in analytics to view aggregated data about app performance (e.g., crash rates, retention).

• Data Shared: Anonymized usage metrics and crash logs.
• Purpose: To identify bugs and improve app performance.

Data Storage (Local Device Only)

Focus Bud works entirely offline. All your data (including focus sessions, history, and settings) is stored locally on your device.

Important: We (Faro Apps) do not have access to your data and we do not store it on any server. If you delete the app from your device, your data will be permanently lost unless you have performed a full iOS system backup.

4. Your Rights (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you (e.g., your RevenueCat history).
• Deletion: Request that we delete your purchase history and anonymous ID from our servers.
• Rectification: Correct inaccurate data.

5. Children's Privacy

Focus Bud is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
